Thank you for your interest in our product. This is an attractant set created for attracting swarms of Japanese honeybees. We prepare these sets every year to coincide with the swarming season. Stock may run out during this period, so please consider purchasing early. [Product Contents] A: Japanese Honeybee Attractant Solution - 1000ml B: Honeycomb Debris - Approx. 50g C: Beeswax - Approx. 50g This set is designed to attract swarms of Japanese honeybees. Please use it as an attractant when setting up your bait hive (beehive). [A: Japanese Honeybee Attractant Solution] This is an attractant solution for Japanese honeybees, made by boiling honeycomb debris. Apply it to the outside and inside of the beehive using a brush or similar tool. Repeating the process of applying and drying several times will enhance its effectiveness. It is also said that applying it 1-2 weeks before setting up the beehive makes it easier for swarms to enter. We recommend performing this task on a sunny day. [B: Honeycomb Debris] Honeycomb debris refers to the leftover comb after honey harvesting. Simply placing it in front of the hive entrance can be expected to have an attractant effect. Another recommended method is to lightly melt it with a heat gun or burner and apply it near the hive entrance. [C: Beeswax] This is natural beeswax. Applying it to the inside of the beehive or near the hive entrance is expected to enhance the attractant effect for Japanese honeybees. [Storage Method] We recommend freezing the attractant solution for preservation to prevent fermentation. Please thaw only the amount you intend to use. [Precautions] The solution may ferment due to rising temperatures. Therefore, we may change the shipping container from a pouch to a plastic bottle without prior notice.
