This is the last harvest and shipment of the day. Kyoto Prefecture Fresh Sansho Peppers, 200g, Premium Grade, Green Berries Same quality as JA (Japan Agricultural Cooperatives) shipping standards, direct from the producer. These are graded as JA premium quality, but some are still growing and vary in size. They are tender and ready to eat! These are freshly picked fresh sansho peppers from the mountains of Kyoto Prefecture. They are hand-picked one by one from wild sansho trees in the mountains, and are a rare item with decreasing harvest volume year by year. We expect to have only about 3kg remaining. [Contents] Approximately 200g [Origin] Kyoto Prefecture [Grade] Premium Grade, Green Berries (Equivalent to JA shipping standards) [Harvest Date] We will ship freshly picked on the same day or the next day after receiving your order, depending on the time. [Shipping Method] Nekoposu (with tracking, delivered to mailbox). May be changed to YuYu Mercari. ▼Recommended Uses ?Tsukudani (simmered in soy sauce), Chirimen Sansho (sansho with dried sardines) ?Sansho peppers pickled in soy sauce ?Freeze and grate to use as powdered sansho ?As a condiment for grilled eel or Mapo Tofu ▼Preparation Method Boil in hot water with a pinch of salt for 2-3 minutes, then rinse in cold water to remove bitterness.
