Sow in your field paths to eliminate weeds, suppress pests and diseases, and significantly reduce aphids. This is because beneficial insects, natural enemies of pests, prefer to inhabit barley. Furthermore, the roots of barley grow deep into the soil, reducing nematodes. The spreading barley leaves in the paths also help to cool the area during the hot summer, offering truly three to four times the benefit! Some people boast about having no weeds in their field paths. However, a scene where only their preferred vegetables grow neatly is highly unnatural in the context of nature. It can be said that it's like an open invitation, beckoning pests by saying, Come and feast! Even if people around you point and criticize your weed-filled paths, simply ignore them. This is barley, growing to about 30cm tall. Since it's barley, you can walk on it. If sown between April and June, it won't head and will wither by mid-summer, turning into mulch and continuing to suppress weeds. Once cultivation is complete, incorporate it into the soil to replenish organic matter, aligning with the SDGs in modern society. With rising fertilizer and pesticide costs, actively utilize green manure! Perfect for those who dislike pest damage, want to minimize pesticide use, want to suppress weeds but avoid herbicides! The key is to sow after creating your field ridges and paths, before weeds germinate. Highly praised by professional farmers, with repeat customers increasing year by year. Sowing method: Broadcast the seeds, level with a rake, and firm by treading. You can also sow in rows about 15cm apart. For larger areas, using a seeder like the Tanemaki Gonbei with appropriate belts is efficient. This quantity of seeds can cover approximately 10 tsubo (33 square meters). We have repackaged the large bags sold by Takii Seed for ease of use. A copy of the explanation by Dr. Takeshi Shimoda of the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization, which explains the technique of preventing pests and diseases by mixing green manure, will be enclosed for your reference. Expiration Date: February, Year 27 Germination Rate: 85% or higher Please note that due to the nature of seeds, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. Thank you for your understanding.
