I purchased the wrong model, so I'm selling it. I only cut one sheet of paper. This item was purchased a few days ago from Yahoo! Shopping. This is the highest-grade premium model, extremely robust and capable of handling thicker materials and precision work. Of course, there are no defects whatsoever, so please purchase with confidence. The DAHLE 554N model can handle a cutting thickness of up to 2.0mm (equivalent to about 20 sheets of copy paper) and can cut canvas material of 260gsm (approx. 0.3-0.4mm) with great power and ease. 2. Unique Automatic Sharpening and Automatic Paper Clamp Functions The DAHLE 554N model is equipped with professional features that support accurate cutting. Automatic Sharpening System: The rotary blade is sharpened each time it moves, ensuring long-lasting sharpness. This feature is a significant advantage for canvas material, which causes rapid blade wear. Powerful Automatic Paper Clamp: The clamping force automatically secures the material as the cutter head moves. Even with slippery materials like polyester canvas, you can cut with minimal shifting while minimizing the effort of holding it down by hand. 3. Guide Bar Rigidity The DAHLE 554N model uses twin shafts (two guide bars), which minimize wobbling of the cutter unit to the extreme.
