Naturally grown Nanko ume (Japanese plum) Unripe plums Large sizes Mixed 3L and 2L sizes 2.2 kg including packaging materials and 790g of 3L and 2L plums unsuitable for umeboshi (pickled plums) with scratches Total 2.7 kg including packaging materials The price is lower than other listings due to the numerous scratches as shown in the photos. As these are perishable goods, currently on May 26th, they are green, but please understand that they will ripen and change color over time. Natural cultivation, pesticide-free, no fertilizers, insecticides, or herbicides used. Hand-picked plums. Pesticide-free plums. When made into umeboshi, they will result in moist and plump umeboshi. The photos are samples. The color will change and ripen over time. The weight will also decrease with time. Tree age approximately 300 years (diagnosed by a tree doctor). These plum trees were purchased wholesale for many years by an umeboshi maker. (The business has since closed due to generational change.) * As these are shipped, selection is done using specialized machinery borrowed from a major company. Scratches are detected by sensors, but we also perform a visual double-check and only pack items that pass.
