Current Status: The kiln is now inherited by his son, Kazuhiko Mori, the second generation. Characteristics and Evaluation of Works Touzan Mori's works are characterized by their pursuit of the beauty of kiln variations created by fire, while retaining the simple beauty of unglazed, fired Bizen ware. Style: He particularly excels in Sangiri-yaki (scorched firing) and ash glaze, with the rich and varied expressions woven by earth and fire being their charm. Evaluation: Travelers and purchasers who visit Bizen ware kilns highly praise the unique cultivation enjoyment of Bizen ware, where the surface develops a smooth, lustrous texture with continued use.
