Thank you for viewing. This is a new, unused sleeveless haori (jinbaori, gilet, or chanchanko). It is made of pure silk and still has its basting stitches. The plump, all-shibori fabric is light and warm, making it perfect for loungewear or for adding an extra layer when you want to go out for a short while. The reddish-purple color, combined with the luxurious all-shibori, makes it a recommended gift for women celebrating their 60th (Kanreki), 70th (Koki), or 77th (Kiju) birthdays as a chanchanko. (While traditional chanchanko are often worn only on the celebratory day, this is a high-quality item that can be worn as a vest over everyday clothes even after the celebration.) When wearing a kimono, it can be worn flexibly inside a winter coat. Because it has no sleeves, you can layer it without your kimono sleeves bunching up inside the coat sleeves, allowing for easy temperature regulation. Also, with a long length, there's a risk of it showing from under a coat, but this short length is easy to wear. This item solves the problem of kimono and haori sleeve lengths or裄 (yuki) not matching. A haori himo (cord) will be included as a bonus, as shown in the photo. ■ Size Shoulder length: 78 cm; Shoulder to miyatsuguchi (armhole opening): 31 cm; Front width: 22.5-23 cm; Back width: 28-31 cm; Collar width: 5.5 cm; Gusset top: 1.5 cm; Gusset bottom: 5.5 cm; Turn-up: 33 cm; Front drop: 4 cm; Back drop: 33 cm ■ Color/Design Reddish-purple, abstract rose pattern, all-shibori ■ Material Pure silk *Please note that measurements are taken by an amateur, so there may be slight errors in size. *This is an amateur inspection, so there may be oversights. Please only purchase if you understand that this is a home-stored item. *The actual color may differ from the photos due to lighting conditions and your device's settings. *The item will be folded compactly for shipping. As it will be folded small, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the folding method. Thank you. Click here for the manufacturer's site
