Experience the warmth of rare Yakusugi wood in this compact Buddhist altar. *Please note: During production, the hinges on the doors were changed from external to internal. As a result, there are marks from this modification on both the upper and lower sides of the doors. We want customers who appreciate the beautiful grain of Yakusugi to be fully satisfied, so we are open to discussing price reductions within our capabilities. Please feel free to contact us. Yakusugi, with a history of over a thousand years, is characterized by its beautiful wood grain and deep, rich flavor. As logging is generally prohibited, only wood from previously felled trees or buried logs is used. This exquisite piece is crafted using traditional techniques to showcase this precious material. [Limited to 1 unit] Originally priced at ￥429,000, now offered at a discounted price of ￥171,600 (40% off). While there are marks from the hinge modification on the sides, this is an excellent opportunity to own a Yakusugi Buddhist altar that you can cherish for a long time, provided you understand and accept this detail. Spend quiet moments with your prayers for loved ones close at hand in this Buddhist altar. Crafted by a master artisan designated as a local craftsman, this piece has undergone dozens of polishing and drying stages from the wood selection process, resulting in a creation that embodies both elegance and dignity. The design, with its concealed hinges and absence of external pulls, creates a clean aesthetic, allowing you to fully appreciate the mesmerizing, undulating grain unique to Yakusugi. The producer, Takahashi Koge, is a workshop certified as a superior Yakusugi dealer by the Yakusugi Business Cooperative of Kagoshima Prefecture. ■ Producer: Takahashi Koge ■ Dimensions (approx.): External dimensions: Width 40cm x Depth 30cm x Height 40cm Internal dimensions: Width 33cm x Depth 25cm x Height 32cm (28cm to the transom), Top step height: 11cm ■ Weight: 6.5kg ■ Material: Natural wood (Yakusugi), urethane resin coating finish *Actual colors may vary slightly depending on your internet environment.
