This listing features a vintage Heddon Golden Mark 50 fly rod paired with an Oren-O-Matic Model B spincast reel. The Heddon rod, marked No. 1543-1/2 - 9ft Line, boasts a 'Controlled Flex Action' and is constructed from classic bamboo. The rod comes in two pieces, making it convenient for transport. The accompanying Oren-O-Matic reel is a Model B, No. 1130, 'Balanced Reel' proudly 'MADE IN U.S.A.' by Quality Tackle Co. It is a closed-face spincast reel in a distinctive maroon color, likely pre-spooled with monofilament line. This combo represents a piece of fishing history, perfect for collectors or those who appreciate vintage tackle. Both items show signs of age and use consistent with their vintage nature, adding to their character.
