A sweet mid-century children’s primer, My Happy Book: Kiddy’s Primer, likely printed in the 1950s and originally sold for 39¢. Made in Japan (DoeiShac), this booklet features a plasticized cover and classic retro illustrations throughout—animals, shapes, colors, musical instruments, comparisons, and early learning scenes. The artwork is incredibly charming and highly displayable. There are 10 interior pages with full-color illustrations. Because of its age and condition issues (name written on upper margin, wear to the back cover, small taped spine area, and one interior page with a sheared-off corner), this piece is best appreciated either as shelf art or as a source for nine salvageable prints suitable for framing. Perfect for a vintage children’s room, a library display, photography prop work, or even décor in a pediatric clinic or classroom. SIZE 10.25 in × 7.5 in × 0.25 in Softcover, plasticized finish. CONDITION Fair vintage condition with notable wear. Name written on top margin, back cover spotting, taped spine edge, and one page with a torn/sheared section. Interior artwork still vibrant, bright, and very usable for display or art projects.
