This is a pre-owned men's haori (kimono jacket) meticulously hand-sewn from hige-tsumugi silk. The material features unique, protruding threads, approximately 1cm to 1.5cm in length, creating an interesting texture that invites touch and offers a distinctive feel. (See photo 10) Among men's haori, which typically show little variation in material, this style with its distinctive, beard-like protruding threads is highly popular. - We received requests from martial arts instructors (kendo, iaido, etc.) for garments that could be worn over their dogi (uniform) and hakama. We proposed options using materials such as Oshima-tsumugi, Yuki-tsumugi, and hige-tsumugi. - We have also received requests for haori and nagagi (kimono) to be sold separately, and for guidance on how to choose the correct size. (Please refer to the haori's body length,裄 length, and other measurements in the product description for sizing guidance. The applicable height is indicated in the product title.) [Applicable Height] 167cm - 172cm [Material] Hige-tsumugi, Navy-based Outer Fabric: 100% Pure Silk [Haori Size] Hand-sewn Body Length: 94cm (from shoulder) Yuki Length: 68.5cm Sleeve Length: 52cm (with 3.5cm hem allowance) Sleeve Width: 34cm Front Width: 20cm Back Width: 30.5cm Sleeve Adjustment: Sleeve side: Approx. 2.5cm Body side: Approx. 1cm [Condition] Left sleeve front: Stain (See photo 5) and other imperfections. As this is a pre-owned item, there may be some minor scuffs, fading, light stains, or storage odors. We have endeavored to photograph any areas of concern. We welcome bids from those who understand and appreciate pre-owned kimonos. Please note that we lack the expertise to determine if the kimono can be let out in terms of sewn-in fabric, body length, or sleeve length. *If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. *Please carefully review the photos and ensure you understand and agree with the item's condition before purchasing. [Shipping Included (Seller Pays)] We will primarily ship via Yamato Transport from Aichi Prefecture. Depending on the size and destination, the shipping method may be changed to Click Post or Rakuraku Mercari便. Please understand this in advance. Click here for the manufacturer's site
