Here's a fantastic piece of vintage American toy history: the TootsieToy Kubelwagen from the 1970s. This highly sought-after model, based on the classic Volkswagen military vehicle (the VW Type 82 Kübelwagen), is a testament to the enduring quality of TootsieToy's pressed steel and diecast construction. This Kubelwagen is a robust little toy that survived decades of play, making it a wonderful nostalgic item or a key addition to any collection of vintage diecast, military toys, or classic TootsieToy vehicles. * Manufacturer: TootsieToy (Made in Chicago, USA) * Era: Vintage 1970s (Often released as part of their Toughs or military series) * Model: Volkswagen Kubelwagen (The military version of the Beetle/Thing) * Construction: Pressed Steel and Diecast Metal chassis and body, known for its durability. * Rarity: This model, particularly in the older brown color and in collectible condition, is becoming increasingly rare as fewer survive the test of time. Condition: Windshield is broken. Review all photos carefully to see the exact condition.
