This is a used Leica M9 Black Paint. A key feature of the M9 is its Kodak KAF-18500 CCD sensor, developed specifically for the M9. Many people likely choose to purchase the M9 because of this sensor. For the M9, it is important to know if the CCD sensor has been replaced with a delamination-proof version. This M9 has been replaced with the CCD ID16-corrected version, which is evidenced by a certificate from Leica. [Exterior] There are signs of normal use, and the underlying brass gold color is exposed in areas on the top cover and base plate due to paint peeling. However, the exterior condition is such that you can use it for shooting without excessive worry. The viewfinder is clear and visible without any issues. The sensor is also clean and without problems. [Operation] Test shots have been taken with a lens attached, and the camera is in good working order, including focus confirmation at infinity at distances over 1km. The shutter count is 5,269, which is very low. (The NumExposures in the product photo indicates the shutter count.) Photos actually taken with this camera are included in the listing images. [Included Items] - Camera Body - Genuine Charger - Genuine Battery x 1 - Genuine Body Cap - Original Box (The serial number matches the camera body. The inner box has some damage, but it does not affect normal use.) - Cords (Includes a power cord for Japan) - Instruction Manual (A Japanese manual is not included, but it can be downloaded from the Leica website.)
