This is the signature model of Al Hirt, a legend in the trumpet world. The Jet-Tone Al Hirt Model D makes high notes easy to control and reduces fatigue. The inner rim diameter is approximately a Bach 5 size. The rim is flat and quite thick. The apex of the rim is on the outside, allowing your lips to gather comfortably in the cup, providing a pleasant feel. The outer rim diameter feels about one size larger than a Bach 1. The design is resistant to pain even with hard pressing and reduces fatigue. For more detailed information on size, shape, playing feel, or if you are interested in used or new mouthpieces, please search on Net Brass. Please check the images. There are no major scratches or dents that would interfere with playing. It comes with a paper box, though it shows some wear. Please refrain from making price reduction comments. Immediate purchase is OK. Click here for the manufacturer's site
