Positional Release Technique Starring and Commentary: Leon Chaitow (University of Westminster, UK) Supervising Translator: Kenri Honda, D.C. Published and Distributed by: Ido no Nihonsha Co., Ltd. List Price: ¥8,000E === From the Package Introduction === Relieve pain by maintaining a comfortable position! What is Positional Release Technique? Lawrence H. Jones, who had a long clinical career as an osteopath, discovered in the mid-1900s, while treating a patient with intractable lower back pain, that the pain improved by maintaining a comfortable position where the patient felt no pain for a certain period. He further established a method of finding this comfortable position using tender points as indicators and dedicated the rest of his life to its research. This became the foundation for a treatment method called Positional Release Technique, which relieves muscle and joint pain, both chronic and acute. Since Jones, this treatment method has continued to develop through the practice of many clinicians and is currently highly supported by physical therapists, chiropractors, and athletic trainers in Canada, the United States, and other countries. This video details various techniques for guiding patients into a comfortable position, including the representative Strain-Counterstrain method discovered by Jones. [Main Contents] ● Exaggeration of Distortion / Reproduction of Injury Position / Strain-Counterstrain / Goodheart's Approach / Functional Technique / Positional Release Technique Starting from the Painful Area / Facilitated Positional Release / Induration Technique / Neuromuscular Inhibition Integration Technique *This video is a re-titled version of Positional Release Therapy and contains the same content. ========================= *Playback confirmed. *This item has been stored for a long time and shows signs of age-related deterioration.
