Purchased from a vintage saxophone specialty store in Japan. This is a mouthpiece made by CE Winds in the USA, modeled after the Florida-era Otto Link. There are no noticeable scratches, and the table and rails are very clean. I have never played a vintage Otto Link, but I felt this one had a dark, warm sound with good volume. I am selling it because I primarily use high-baffle mouthpieces, but as this is a rare mouthpiece, I cannot offer discounts. [Notes] ・Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a new or pristine item. ・Returns and exchanges are not accepted. ・Please provide your evaluation promptly after receiving the item. We do not accept evaluations such as after trying it out. Please feel free to comment if you have any questions! Reference video: https://youtu.be/W0weOViTfQA?si=AkTPsZtrOOV2j6bL The following is a product description summarized by AI. ■ Key Features ① Reproduction of Florida Otto Link * Cast (lost wax) based on the original Florida-era Otto Link * Aiming for the characteristics of vintage Links: * Thick and viscous tone * Darker, yet projecting sound ② Limited Production & Handmade * Limited production of approximately 250 pieces * Hand engraving on both the exterior and interior * Engraving on the interior (baffle side) influences airflow, creating a unique tone. ③ Material and Finish Bronze + Gold plating Heavy and dense → Produces a focused sound ④ Tip Opening: Approximately 7★ ≒ 0.105 inches ■ Sound Characteristics Thick and dense tone, warm (but not muffled), vintage Link-like sustain, wide dynamic range (easy to play softly) ■ Recommended for * Those who like Otto Link-style mouthpieces * Those who dislike overly modern high-baffle mouthpieces * Straight-ahead, swing, and modern jazz players Click here for the manufacturer's site
