・Otto Link Metal 8 (approx. 2.79mm) ・For Tenor Saxophone / Includes Cap / Ligature Not Included ・Selected by a professional saxophonist over 15 years ago (though there is no selection certificate, it was chosen from several pieces) and has been used since. While there are minor scratches and signs of age-related deterioration, it is considered a good piece with excellent resonance and ease of play. Furthermore, due to its age, the appearance has a vintage look, but it has been thoroughly cleaned and is hygienic. I am selling it because I don't have many opportunities to use it. In recent years, Otto Link prices have been soaring, but this item is priced accessibly as a used item, with the added value of being a professionally selected piece. I used to use a Rovner or Otto Link ligature with it. There are fine scratches on the body, but they do not affect playability. The price has been reduced to account for the scratches. Please understand the above and purchase as a used item with no claims or returns. About Otto Link Otto Link has been chosen by top musicians worldwide for many years. Manufacturing of metal mouthpieces began in New York State, USA, in the 1930s, followed by the production of hard rubber mouthpieces. In the early 1950s, the company moved to Florida and released various models. In the 1970s, manufacturing continued at the Babbitt factory in Elkhart, Indiana. Early models used a rollover baffle, and from the 1970s onwards, a step baffle was also incorporated. The ligature shape has retained the appearance of its early production. Throughout all eras, the Otto Link characteristic warm and thick tone has been passed down. Continuing to walk alongside the jazz scene with the times and performers, it has created numerous popular models and continues to be sought after by many players today.
