A pair of vintage Royal Doulton Bunnykins, sold together. William Reading Without Tears, DB401, sits cross legged on his mat working through a book called Reading Without Tears in his red jacket. Boy Scout Bunnykins, DB430, an exclusive piece from the Royal Doulton International Collectors Club, stands proud in his blue uniform with haversack and yellow banded hat. Both hand made and hand decorated in England, backstamped on the base. William measures approximately 3.5 inches tall, Boy Scout approximately 4.5 inches tall. Glossy glaze, well painted detail, no chips or cracks that I can find on either piece. No boxes included. A lovely little grouping for a Bunnykins collector, a nursery shelf, or a scouting fan who appreciates a bit of English whimsy. Every piece has a past. Find yours. — Sarah / The Storied House Co.
