a great pair of vintage Dan Post genuine full quill ostrich western cowboy boots in men’s size 8.5 EW These boots feature a beautiful dark burgundy/oxblood color with classic western shaft stitching and a timeless pointed toe profile. Crafted from genuine full quill ostrich leather, the vamp and toe display the natural raised quill follicles that make ostrich one of the most sought-after exotic leathers. Ostrich is prized for its exceptional softness, flexibility, and durability, developing a unique character and rich patina with age. The leather remains supple and shows the natural creasing expected from quality vintage ostrich boots. Features include: * Genuine full quill ostrich leather foot * Leather shaft with traditional western embroidery * Dark burgundy/oxblood finish * Leather lining * Leather outsoles * Traditional cowboy heel with Dan Post heel caps * Pull straps for easy on and off * Made in Mexico * Men’s Size 8.5 EW Based on the construction, styling, and interior markings, these date to approximately the late 1980s through the mid-1990s, making them a great example of vintage Dan Post craftsmanship. These boots are in very good vintage condition with normal signs of wear consistent with age, including natural leather creasing, light scuffs, and expected wear to the leather soles. The stitching is intact, the leather remains soft, and the boots have plenty of life left. Please review all photos carefully for the best representation of their condition
