Made in Germany Mennigh Bassoon Serial Number: 138xx Although the instrument has aged, it shows no significant signs of heavy use and is in good overall condition. Furthermore, there is no noticeable wear around the joints of the bass and tenor sections. Additionally, the #G hole at the bottom of the double joint is in excellent condition. This area is typically prone to corrosion from saliva (moisture) and is considered very difficult to repair, but no such issues have been found on this instrument. [Adjustments Made] - All pads replaced - Overall adjustment - All corks replaced - Bocal cork replaced - Entire instrument re-plated with silver *As expected for its age, there are some minor imperfections on the metal surface, but these do not affect playability. ■ Accessories - Mennigh Bocal #1 - Mennigh Bocal #2 - Bocal Case - Bassoon Backpack Case Please examine the photos carefully before considering your purchase. This instrument is highly recommended for a wide range of musicians, from those playing in concert bands and orchestras to soloists, other double reed players (such as oboe and English horn), and hobbyists.
