This is a Victorian-style hinged bangle bracelet featuring a Taille d'Épargne technique, where the gold surface is engraved and filled with black enamel. Marked H & B Antique Victorian era. • Technique: niello , Taille d'Épargne (also known as black enamel tracery), a popular 19th-century metalworking technique where detailed geometric and floral lines are engraved into the metal and filled with opaque black enamel.
