Verified Juliana D&E Book Piece Brooch - Amber, Topaz & AB on Japanned Metal A documented treasure for the serious Juliana (DeLizza & Elster) collector. This tiered floral masterpiece is a verified book piece, featured on page 218 of The Juliana Jewelry Reference Guide by Ann Pitman. Design & Artistry: Palette: A rich, sophisticated blend of Amber and Topaz glass stones accented by fiery Aurora Borealis (AB) rhinestones that catch the light with every movement. The Setting: Set in rare Japanned (blackened) metal, which provides a dramatic, moody contrast that makes the warm-toned stones glow. Construction: Classic D&E multi-level layering (puddling) and high-quality prong settings. This is a substantial, high-profile 3D design. Collector Note: Japanned Juliana pieces are increasingly difficult to find in this condition. As a verified book piece, this is not just jewelry; it is a wearable investment and a slice of mid-century fashion history. Details: Size: 2.5 Diameter Condition: Excellent vintage condition. All stones are original, vibrant, and secure. The Japanned finish is remarkably well-preserved with only minor, age-appropriate wear. Authenticity: Unsigned (as manufactured). Verified by construction and documentation.
