Lovely vintage sugar and creamer set featuring classic candlewick-style knobbed handles and a delicate etched Corn Flower floral pattern. Produced by W. J. Hughes Corn Flower Glass, this design has been a beloved part of Canadian tableware history since 1912. The striking floral pattern was developed by William John Hughes, a skilled glass-cutter whose creations grew into a nationally recognized brand enjoyed by families for generations. Originally designed to bring affordable elegance to working-class homes, Corn Flower glass became a household name across Canada — especially during the 1950s and 1960s through innovative marketing and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. It’s a wonderful example of early 20th-century etched glass that feels both delicate and enduring. CONDITION NOTE: Beautiful condition with no chips or cracks.
