Weight: Approx. 400g - 450g Total length: Approx. 29cm - 33cm This product is made of iron and wood (as shown in the photo). The grip is a triple-layered sandwich of iron and wood. It is coated with varnish three times for a glossy and beautiful finish. This is a handmade item by an amateur. There may be dirt, warping, or small scratches. Please refrain from purchasing if you are particular about details. ✯ Firecrackers, rocket fireworks, and lighters are not included. What is a Bear Deterrent? It is a tool used to amplify the sound of firecrackers to alert bears and other animals to human presence, thereby avoiding encounters. It is used as a bear countermeasure item for those working in mountainous areas, or when entering the mountains for activities such as mountain climbing, foraging for wild vegetables, or stream fishing. By setting a firecracker in the short tube, the sound becomes louder and travels further than when the firecracker is set off by itself. The longer tube can be used to launch rocket fireworks. ✯ How to Use Insert one firecracker into the tip of the main body and ignite the fuse. After ignition, it is said that tilting the barrel in the direction of travel and sliding the firecracker to the bottom of the barrel will make the sound resonate more. It is effective when used at intervals of 20 to 30 minutes. ✯ Precautions It is strictly forbidden to point the muzzle towards people. Do not look into the barrel even if there is a misfire. Do not use in urban areas or where other people are present. Alternatively, give a shout before firing. Please take your trash with you after use.
