* See all photos for excellent condition. Made in the Philippines. There is Willow on the inside that is not tied down. This is not a flaw, but characteristic of it being handmade. There was some hot glue in the bottom of the basket, which I heated slightly to remove. There is a slight residual, which is hard to notice on the very bottom. Basket is sturdy. This basket would look wonderful with Christmas decorations. It has hints of red and green and gold as seen in the pictures. Handle has a slight wobble but is sturdy. This basket is a hand-woven willow gathering basket, characterized by a rustic farmhouse or vintage European style. Key Design FeaturesForm: It features a traditional oval shape with high sides, often referred to as a garden trug or market basket. Construction: The basket is crafted using a tight, multi-colored weave of natural willow branches, which gives it a textured, antique wash appearance. Handle: It has a single, arched stationary handle reinforced with a twisted-wrap technique for durability. Common Styles & UsesStyles: Primitive, French Country, and Cottagecore.Practical Uses: Traditionally used for harvesting flowers and vegetables or for foraging (gathering). Decorative Uses: Popular in modern decor as a storage solution for blankets, towels, or as a seasonal display piece. #CTRSLF-left
