We are offering the Buffet Crampon R13, highly regarded as a standard for clarinets. The serial number is in the 180,000 range, believed to be from the late 1970s. This instrument has a density characteristic of the wood from that era, giving the impression of a rich, resonant tone with a well-maintained core. [Maintenance] In January 2026, all pads were replaced at a music store using genuine fish skin pads. The instrument has just undergone maintenance and is ready for immediate use. [Exterior and Condition] Keys: The silver plating is in excellent condition. There are no noticeable chips or discoloration, and it retains a beautiful luster. Body: While there are signs of use consistent with its age and some fading of the logo, there are no cracks or repairs to cracks. In recent years, the new price of the R13 has significantly increased, currently standing at ¥625,900 (tax included). We recommend this instrument to those looking for a practical, well-maintained clarinet.
