Purchased used and used for about 4 years. I've played it for a long time, but I'm selling it because I bought a long barrel. It's been about 2 years since the last adjustment, but there have been no particular problems with playing. There is one small dent on the bell, but it's not particularly noticeable unless light hits it. It was used in a performance in January with no issues, but please understand that it is being sold as-is. The barrel is made of ABS resin, so it is durable and long-lasting. The body itself is very light, making it easy to carry and useful as a secondary instrument. While it is slightly inferior to wooden instruments in terms of tonal richness, it is very easy to handle and has few quirks, making it a recommended bass clarinet for students and adult amateur musicians. - Model: YAMAHA YCL-221 Bb Bass Clarinet - Accessories: Case - Body: ABS Resin - Key: Low E♭ Below is a description from the manufacturer's official website. Based on the 621, this model has a tone close to professional models despite its ABS resin body. Its unique joint mechanism allows for safe and easy assembly. The 221 features an adjustable thumb rest to accommodate players' hand sizes, enhancing playability. Its beautiful matte finish is as appealing as that of wooden instruments.
