Item Description This is a heavy, handmade vintage quilt, crafted as a substantial layering quilt and originally used underneath a coordinating handmade Queen quilt for added warmth. Its solid brown tone and textured hand-tied construction make it both practical and visually appealing. The quilt was sourced from the same Charleston, South Carolina estate as the coordinating quilts currently in my store and was made by the same quilt maker. It is Full size (86 x 66) and is laid on a King bed in the photos to show scale and drape. ⸻ Details • Size: Full — approx. 86 x 66 • Construction: Handmade / hand-tied • Weight: Heavy, substantial feel, Cotton Batting • Color: Brown • Use: Designed as a warming under-quilt or standalone layer • Era: Vintage • Not store bought ⸻ Condition Very good vintage condition. Clean and well cared for, with light character consistent with age and use. No major flaws noted. ⸻ Provenance Pulled from an affluent Charleston estate. Please see my other listings for coordinating handmade quilts by the same quilt maker. ⸻ Shipping Carefully folded and packaged for safe shipment. Ships from a smoke-free home.
