Kenko PRO1D R72 72mm Near-Infrared Filter (for Infrared Photography) This is a 72mm diameter PRO1D R72 infrared photography filter made by Kenko Tokina. By cutting visible light and allowing only near-infrared rays from around 720nm to pass through, you can enjoy unique infrared photographs with distinct contrast, different from what the naked eye sees. [Product Overview] - Manufacturer: Kenko Tokina - Series: PRO1 Digital (PRO1D) - Product Name: R72 (Infrared Transmission Filter) - Filter Diameter: 72mm - Specifications: Visible light cut + near-infrared transmission, Digital Multi-Coated, Black Anodized Frame - Note: This is an older model that has been discontinued by the manufacturer. [Product Condition] - Glass Surface: No noticeable scratches or coating peeling are apparent, and it appears to be in overall clean condition (wiped for photography, but please excuse any fine dust). - Frame: There are very light scuffs from use, but no major dents or distortions. - Case: Comes in its original hard case. The exterior of the case has scuffs and yellowing, but it opens and closes without issue (please check photos). [Features & Highlights] - This filter allows you to easily enjoy infrared photography by utilizing the infrared sensitivity of digital SLRs and mirrorless cameras. - It achieves infrared expressions such as the snow effect, where green leaves appear white and the sky becomes dark. - The PRO1D series' slim frame design and multi-coating are designed to suppress flare and ghosting. [Accessories] - Filter Body (72mm) - Original Plastic Case *Everything shown in the photos is included. [Precautions] - Exposure will be significantly longer than normal shooting, so photography is assumed to be done with a tripod. - The resulting image will vary depending on the camera model due to differences in infrared sensitivity. Please consider this purchase only if you understand the characteristics of infrared photography. Click here for the manufacturer's site
