This is a padded hanten coat luxuriously made with Meisen silk on the outer fabric, which is very popular for antique kimonos. It has a subtle sheen and crisp texture characteristic of silk, and the fine lattice pattern gives it a very modern and elegant impression. The filling uses some silk floss (silk), making it significantly lighter than those made with only regular cotton and less likely to cause shoulder stiffness.
