White Mist is a complementary filter to Black Mist. While Black Mist uses black diffusing material, White Mist uses white diffusing material. It has a stronger contrast-reducing effect than Black Mist, suppressing saturation and creating a pale tone. In scenes with front lighting or no strong light sources, the reduction in contrast is moderate, making it suitable for dark and moist expressions. ◆ Creates a subtly soft rendering Even when using high-pixel cameras and the latest lenses with excellent sharpness, attaching White Mist will subtly soften the rendering, making it appear as if an old lens was used.
