Bright and graphic VTG St. Mary’s terry cloth towel featuring a bold yellow and white baroque medallion design. The pattern has strong 1960s–1970s energy with scrolling vines, central floral medallions, and a decorative border that feels very Mediterranean / resort inspired. Finished with short fringe at both ends. Made by St. Mary’s, New York, a mid-century American textile manufacturer known for high-quality cotton towels and linens produced for department stores. The thick terry construction still feels soft, absorbent, and nicely textured. The vibrant yellow color and symmetrical ornamental pattern make this piece especially appealing beyond the bathroom. Vintage towels like this are often used as table runners, dresser scarves, bench textiles, or retro kitchen décor. The graphic contrast and cheerful color read beautifully in vintage-inspired interiors. Made in USA 100% cotton terry cloth St. Mary’s New York label Condition: Bright, clean, and fluffy overall. One small discoloration spot and a minor pull in the terry noted and photographed. Fringe intact. Presents very well for its age.
