Handstitched Hand-Quilted Patchwork Baby Quilt ~ Wall Hanging ~ Bear Paw ~ Log Cabin ~ Sawtooth Star ~ Bear ~ Moose Handmade patchwork baby quilt / wall hanging / table topper with a rustic outdoor woodland theme featuring 3 stylized brown bears or moose, silhouettes and a row of nine green pine trees. This expertly handcrafted folk art style quilt showcases traditional patchwork patterns, including: the Bear Paw characterized by four triangular paws pointing towards a central square surrounded by four smaller half-square triangles resembling the claws of a bear; Sawtooth Star or Ohio Star a geometric pattern using triangles to create jagged edges; Classic Log Cabin design composed of narrow fabric strips (logs) sewn around a central square (hearth), dividing the block into light & dark sections; & other “half-square triangles” patterns. The quilter chose plaids & small floral cotton calico prints in earthy colors of tan, brown and green, as well as, blues, deep reds & creams, characteristic of Americana & primitive style country decor. Finished edges. White cotton backing. Measures 43” x 34”. Bundle with another item(s) in my closet for an automatic discount.
