This is a stylish-looking cello made of carbon fiber. I bought it for my daughter a few years ago, but she wants a wooden one, so I'm selling it. - This is a model without a pickup microphone. I believe it can be retrofitted by a specialist. - There are no major scratches, but there are many small dents and scuffs on the side of the 1st string side, which occurred when the cello was laid on its side on the floor. - I bought it new 4 years ago and played it for about 2 years for club activities. I haven't played it for about 2 years since then. It has had almost no maintenance. - A carbon fiber bow is included. - A nylon soft case is included. The rod at the bottom protrudes from the case. The following is an excerpt from mezzo forte's official online site. The price for a new one is 902,000 yen (tax included). - - - The mezzo forte cello is a high-end carbon instrument, handcrafted one by one by skilled artisans, and is also favored by soloists. It combines the durability unique to carbon fiber with a rich resonance comparable to wooden instruments. [Main Features] • Exceptional Resonance and Response By perfectly aligning the carbon fiber direction and applying advanced painting and polishing, we achieve a bright, powerful tone and sharp response. • Highly Resistant to Environmental Changes and Extremely Durable Unaffected by humidity and temperature, it maintains a stable condition even in humid Japan. It is lightweight and impact-resistant, making it ideal for active performance schedules with frequent travel. • Hybrid of Tradition and Innovation Traditional wood is used for the sound post and bridge, allowing for adjustments at common workshops. The fingerboard uses a composite material with a texture similar to ebony, pursuing playability and maintainability. Click here for the manufacturer's site
