Please allow about one week from purchase to arrival due to packing material procurement. ★Background: I understand this mandolin was made from a kit. It was built by a deceased family member in the 1990s using a mandolin kit as a beginner instrument. However, it was hardly ever played and has been stored in its case for nearly 30 years. The family member who owned it was visually impaired, so it's likely that an instructor did most of the construction. It is very solidly built and doesn't feel cheap. When I plucked the strings with my finger, I thought the sound was not bad. However, considering potential age-related deterioration, I recommend replacing the strings. I personally play the lute and have no knowledge of mandolins, so please judge everything from the photos. The price is calculated based on online kit prices. I will answer your questions to the best of my ability, so please feel free to ask in the comments.
