It's surprisingly not widely known that Gibson's history began with the flat mandolin. This instrument is the A-3, a high-end model of Gibson's teardrop-shaped mandolin. It possesses a unique atmosphere that cannot be replicated today, with inlays on the headstock and tuning pegs that signify a high-end model, and an ivory finish that is popular as a white-face. The body is free of cracks and is in good condition. Furthermore, it has undergone all necessary maintenance, indicating that it has been carefully handled. While it is now at an antique level, it can still be actively used. We hope it will be cherished and maintained for years to come. *As this is an vintage instrument, there are signs of tarnish and rust on the parts. There are also some cracks in the wood, but they have been repaired.
