Thank you for viewing. This is a No. 92 contrabass (upright bass) made by Suzuki Violin, a string instrument manufacturer that Japan is proud of worldwide. [Background] This instrument was carefully used and stored by my uncle, who ran a music school. It is now being listed for sale as part of an estate liquidation. This is a trusted model chosen for professional educational settings. [Product Features] Manufacturer: SUZUKI VIOLIN Model: No. 92 (A long-loved intermediate to advanced model, still part of the current lineup) Size: 4/4 (Full size according to Japanese standards) Year of Manufacture: 1982 (Anno 1982) Construction: With over 40 years of aging, the wood is well-seasoned, offering the potential for a deep, resonant sound unique to vintage instruments. [Condition] Exterior: There are signs of wear such as scuffs from use and minor scratches on the edges (please refer to photos 7-10). There are no critical cracks or major damage, but we hope to sell it to someone who appreciates the character of an antique instrument. Parts: The pegs (tuning pegs) operate without issue. The soundpost is in place. Maintenance: As this instrument has been stored for a long time, we recommend performing maintenance such as changing the strings and adjusting the bridge to your preference before use.
