This is a handmade kantha quilt in a twin size, made from recycled cotton saris in India. It’s not mass produced, each panel is a different reclaimed sari pattern, including a maroon and cream floral dot print with a navy paisley border, plus a chartreuse and lavender striped panel with rust medallions, hand-stitched with the visible running kantha stitch throughout. It’s reversible, with different colors and patterns on each side. New kantha quilts like this typically retail for $60-120+. This is a great pick for getting a dorm room ready, it brings instant color and character to a twin or twin XL bed, and since every kantha quilt is one of a kind, no one else’s room will look like yours.
