To play with a beautiful tone, it is necessary to move the bow in the correct position and at the correct angle. By attaching the HorACE Bow Guide to the violin and playing while moving the bow along the guide, you can naturally correct your bowing technique and develop proper bowing habits. This is a highly recommended support item for beginners to improve their bowing skills. The guide part is made of lightweight and durable polycarbonate resin, weighing only about 26 grams (for 4/4-1/2 size). The guide has a rounded arch shape, so it feels natural when moving the bow, and being transparent, it does not obstruct the player's view. The compact design allows for bowing practice very close to the end of the frog. The edges of the guide, where the bow stick is likely to touch, are designed and manufactured with rounded edges, which is another recommended feature as it minimizes the risk of scratching the bow during bowing.
