Product Overview: Up for sale is a stunning, museum-quality example of the iconic Turn-A-Bout necklace by Sarah Coventry, circa 1959. This is a classic mid-century hostess piece, famous for its reversible design that offers two distinct looks in one high-quality necklace. Design Features: Reversible Style: Side A features a sophisticated, textured Florentine finish (matte gold-tone). Side B features a high-polish, mirror-shine finish. Construction: Wide, articulated gate-link design that lays flat as a structured choker. Clasp: Features the original, highly-coveted Rau Klikit snap fastener, which allows the necklace to be worn on either side seamlessly. Condition Report: This piece is in exceptional vintage condition (Near Mint/Mint): Plating: Absolutely NO plating loss or pitting. The gold-tone is bright and consistent throughout. Metal: No discoloration, greening (verdigris), or oxidation. Hardware: The Rau Klikit clasp is fully functional and closes with a firm, secure click. Links: All hinges are smooth and move freely.
