Wilhelm Raum Markneukirchen, Germany, circa 1980 4/4 Size Violin Bow This is a violin bow made by the W. Raum workshop in Markneukirchen, Germany. It is a high-quality, two-star model, just below the top-tier three-star model, with a market price of approximately $2,000-$3,000 (¥300,000-¥400,000). The frog bears the WR trademark brand. The stick is made of fine, bright orange pernambuco wood, with a natural material used for the tip. Bows of this caliber from that era utilized high-quality materials that are now only found on bows one to two tiers higher (¥800,000 and up), offering excellent cost performance. This bow is highly recommended for those who prioritize quality. Why not try an authentic German bow? This is a superb bow, so don't miss out. Enjoy a selection of bows carefully chosen by a specialist shop, offering everything from new to old bows, with prices ranging from tens of thousands to millions of yen. Inscriptions: WILHELM RAUM＊＊ Stick: Pernambuco Round Stick Frog: Ebony Single Eye Fittings: Silver Weight: 60g There are some minor scratches and dirt from use, but overall it is in beautiful condition and is a fine bow that can be used for many years to come. The winding has been replaced with silver thread and silk, and the thumb grip with genuine lizard leather. The bow has been rehaired and maintained. Please apply rosin generously before use. We also have many other workshop-made bows and famous brand bows available. Please contact us in advance for discounts on bundled purchases or purchases with an instrument.
