Ending Today ♪ Thank you for viewing. We mainly sell goods for extreme striking martial arts (K-1, Muay Thai, Myanmar Lethwei, Kun Khmer). This is a high-quality leather craft groin protector. Size: M Gender: Male (Of course, apologies) Material: Non-ferrous metal (likely aluminum alloy) Type: Tie-up type (not the kind that looks like underwear, so-called butt split) I made it for K-1 amateur use, but for some reason, they said it was not allowed in matches. It's made of metal and doesn't violate the rules, but I really don't understand why other brands (like Fairtex or Windy) are okay, but when I peeled off the leather of a GLOBAL SPORTS groin protector and replaced it with high-quality leather, it was rejected. Is it because the rules state, Only K-1 logo items are permitted, and they don't treat it the same as other gear like gloves and headgear? Perhaps Are you too lazy to revise the wording? That's what I thought. However, the construction is solid, so How about it for practice? I used high-quality cowhide and created an original design. It cost tens of thousands of yen, including specialized tools and materials. Notes on Used Extreme Striking Martial Arts Gear In extreme striking martial arts, where sweating and bleeding are common, using used gear carries the following major risks: ・Fragility: It's unknown how many previous owners there were, and damaged items can directly lead to trouble (e.g., retaliation if the opponent is blinded). ・Lingering odor from previous owner: While it may be a matter of preference, groin protectors and abdominal guards can retain a strong odor. This item was photographed being worn over regular shorts, not underwear, and has been disinfected and deodorized immediately after (it's almost always odorless). Please understand that this also served as a fit test (to ensure it wouldn't break if I tried to put it on). ・Hydrolysis of PU material: Sweat and blood can penetrate, evaporate, and cause hydrolysis, leading to a sticky, crumbly texture. Many people tend to declutter and sell items once hydrolysis begins. The above are the major risks of used extreme striking martial arts gear. No smoking. Pets are turtles and guppies. They are basically not touched, so it's odorless.
