This is the HorACE Bow Guide, a practice tool for correcting violin bowing. It was used for about six months. Please only purchase if you understand that this is a used item. The actual item is shown in the 5th photo. Quoted below: The guide part is made of lightweight and highly durable polycarbonate resin, weighing only about 26 grams (for 4/4 to 1/2 size). When practicing the violin, you'll be surprised at how difficult it is to move the bow straight, won't you? When you're concentrating on your left-hand fingering, doesn't the bow angle become strange before you know it, or do you find yourself playing on the fingerboard or bridge? These are common concerns for almost all beginners. To play with a beautiful tone, you need to move the bow at the correct position and angle. This HorACE Bow Guide is a practice accessory that you attach to your violin as shown in the photo, and practice moving your bow along the guide. The legs are made of elastic silicone material. Gently squeeze the legs with your thumb and index finger to slightly reduce the distance between the left and right legs. Then, release your fingers so that the concave part of the legs rests on the edge of the C-curve of the soundboard body. It's that simple to set up, so there's almost no risk of damaging your violin during attachment. Removal is just as easy. The ease of attachment and removal greatly impacts your motivation during regular practice. As described above, this is an excellent bowing practice guide. Please try using it at least once.
