【Playtest Video Available!】 https://youtu.be/RfylaBopUAQ 【RAFFIN Certified】 L'école Bazin (Bazin School) Mirecourt, France, circa 1920 4/4 Size Violin Bow No brand stamp, 741mm, 57.3g Pernambuco, Ebony Many luthiers who would become prominent in the 20th century trained in the workshop of Charles Nicolas Bazin from the late 19th to early 20th century. This includes his son Louis Bazin, as well as Victor Fetique, Jules Fetique, Louis Morizot, and Louis Piernot. This bow is a French bow crafted in Mirecourt, France, in the early 1900s under Bazin's instruction. Although it is a school piece, it is made with very high-quality Pernambuco wood, comparable to the materials used in the works of master Nicolas and Louis. Specialty Store Reference Price: ¥1,000,000 We are offering a portion of our collection of instruments and bows as part of a project to support young musicians. In addition to its guaranteed value with a certificate of authenticity, this bow is highly practical and performance-oriented, making it recommended for musicians. It is very light yet has good resilience, allowing for a strong sound. Its rich tone and playing feel, characteristic of old bows, add depth to your music. As it is relatively reasonably priced for an old bow, it is also recommended for those purchasing their first old bow. The bow has been rehaired and maintained, and rosin has been applied for playtesting. It is in healthy condition and can be used for many years to come. We also have many other workshop bows and famous brand bows available. Please enjoy our selection of violin bows, carefully chosen by our specialty store, ranging from new to old, and priced from hundreds of thousands to millions of yen.
