This is a snare drum from TAMA's Artwood series, likely from the late 1980s to the 1990s, made in Japan. This is a high-end model luxuriously crafted with rare bird's-eye maple, featuring a very powerful and thick sound characteristic of TAMA from that era. ■ Specifications • Shell: Bird's-eye Maple • Size: 14 inches x approx. 6.5 inches deep (deep shell model) • Lugs: High-tension lugs • Hoops: Die-cast hoops (10 tension) • Manufacturing: Made in Japan It has been stored at my grandmother's house for many years, so there are some tears on the back and minor scratches and rust overall, but no major external damage and it is in good condition. We will wipe it down, but it will be handed over as-is. Polishing and maintenance should be done by the purchaser. ■ Condition • Metal parts: The hoops and lugs have characteristic pitting (minor rust) and dullness. • Heads: Please consider replacing them as they show signs of use. • Operation: The strainer's on/off function has been confirmed. ■ Notes This is a vintage instrument approximately 30-40 years old. As it is a discontinued Japanese model, it is likely rare. The wood grain is beautiful. We ask that only those who can enjoy maintaining it themselves, such as polishing the metal parts or replacing the heads, or those who understand the charm of vintage items, purchase this product.
