Classic Italian shoemaking from a.testoni’s Black Label line. A beautifully understated pair of a.testoni Black Label single monk-strap shoes, crafted in Italy from supple black leather. These have the restrained, elegant profile that made vintage Testoni such a respected name in Italian footwear: a long, clean last, finely finished leather uppers, substantial stitched construction and discreet silver-tone buckles. The design is exceptionally versatile—formal enough for tailoring, but considerably more interesting than a conventional black Oxford or Derby. Details: * a.testoni Black Label * Made in Italy * Men’s UK 8.5 / approximately US 9.5 * Black leather * Single monk-strap closure * Silver-tone buckles * Leather lining * Quality Italian construction * Protective rubber soles * Shoe trees shown are not included Condition: Very good pre-owned vintage condition. The leather remains supple and presents beautifully, with normal creasing consistent with wear. There are a few small cosmetic marks/scuffs, most notably at the toes and a small spot at the rear heel, all photographed closely for transparency. Soles show moderate wear with substantial life remaining. No major structural issues noted. These are not a flashy pair of shoes—and that is rather the point. They’re an exceptionally wearable example of a.testoni Black Label craftsmanship, with the kind of quietly luxurious construction and proportions that reward a closer look.
