Overview: This is a Fender USA American Original '50s Stratocaster neck, purchased via personal import from overseas in March 2020. This is a part from a series that has already been discontinued. Since the tuning machines were not installed at the time of purchase, genuine Fender parts were fitted. This is a vintage-spec, lacquer-finished neck that will change as it is played. There are scuffs from use, and chips in the lacquer near the tuning machine holes. While the current American Vintage II series '57 Stratocaster has a very sharp V-neck, this one has a rounded soft V-shape. It features a modern 9.5-inch radius, which many may prefer for playability. Specifications: ■Neck: 1 Piece Maple (Soft V, 9.5R, 21 Vintage Tall Frets) ■Finish: Nitrocellulose Lacquer Notes: - Due to paint chips on a part of the headstock near the tuning machines, and partial peeling of the The Original Contour Body decal, the condition is set to Slightly scratched and dirty. - Regarding the truss rod condition, I am unable to determine as it has not been adjusted. - As of today (December 30, 2025), it appears to be generally straight to the untrained eye, but this may change depending on the shipping time and transportation environment. Please understand this. This genuine Fender neck allows you to easily enjoy a Stratocaster with a luxurious feel. Replacement necks are sold on the official Fender website, but it seems that while these are parts from the vintage spec series, they have serial numbers on the back of the headstock, similar to the modern series. Therefore, the sale of only the neck without a serial number on the back of the headstock from this series is considered very rare. We highly recommend this for those seeking better sound, or as a part for your existing guitar or for building your own.
