Perfect for early summer with its refreshing iris pattern, this obi is also recommended for tea ceremonies and lessons. This is a pure silk Nagoya obi with an elegant iris pattern woven on a refined ecru (beige) base. Its subdued color scheme is not overpowering, making it easy to pair with a wide range of kimonos such as houmongi, tsukesage, and komon, adding a subtle touch of the season to your coordination. The iris pattern is also known as an auspicious design associated with Shobu (military arts), and is very popular for outfits from April to June. This obi is perfect for the upcoming season. Furthermore, the weaving is in good condition, and the taiko (drum) pattern comes out beautifully, resulting in an elegant kimono appearance. [Condition] As this is a used item, there are slight signs of wear from being tied and age, but there are no noticeable large stains or damage, and it can still be worn sufficiently.
