The fabric is thin and flimsy. Is this really made in Japan, Fukui? Most pure silk nagajuban fabrics look see-through. Even so, most of them are in the ¥30,000 range. If you touch it and think this is good, it becomes ¥50,000. On the other hand, people accustomed to pure silk cannot wear synthetic fibers... The only way to get a good quality, reasonably priced nagajuban fabric these days is to rely on the manufacturer's old stock. Therefore, for those who are serious about kimono, please buy this now while the wholesaler's old stock is available.
