This is a large stainless steel stockpot. It's perfect for outdoor cooking or preparing meals for large groups. There are scratches, dirt, and burn marks from use, but it is still functional. This item has been stored at home, so please only purchase if you understand this. One of the locking latches is broken. Size: Approximately 30 cm in width and 30 cm in height. Common Names: - Locking Latch - Clamp Fastener - Snap Lock (Snap Lock or Toggle Latch in English-speaking countries) Main Functions: - Tightly seals the pot lid. - Prevents pressure and steam leakage during cooking. - Secures the lid during transport to prevent it from coming off. -- Structure and Mechanism | Part Name | Description | |---|---| | Hook Part | Catches onto protrusions or rings on the pot body. | | Hinge Part | Moves to allow smooth opening and closing. | | Lock Bar | Lever for pushing and securing the hook. | | Rivets/Screws | Fasteners to securely attach the hardware to the pot. | This type of hardware is often used in commercial cooking equipment and storage containers, especially when making large quantities of soup or stew, as a tight seal on the lid is important. --- Sealing and Safety While this latch-type hardware is not completely airtight like a pressure cooker, it: - Minimizes steam escape. - Prevents the lid from shifting. - Ensures safety during transport.
